Pope (Andrew) and Pat (Janie) literally run into each other when they first meet. Pope's step mom, half sister, and niece live on their own, a separate household from his father. Upon his return home, he learns from his half sister that his father is to wed another, much younger woman. Remembering how his step mom used to care for him in place of this father, Pope vows to stop the marriage. It turns out, however, that the much younger woman is Pat's older sister, Pim. The CEO position is given to Pope, upsetting Pim. Coincidentally, Pat is also looking for a job and enlist the help of Atun, who has now become a good friend. Atun sets up an interview with Pope. Once again their paths cross as Pat accepts a job as Pope's secretary. Drama and jealously ensue as both start to like each other. Their growing relationship is further strained by Pim's meddling in Pope's company business and her surprise arranged marriage for Pat, as well as the interference of Atun's interest in Pat.
